Thailand makes the best commercials ever.

Thai commercials are probably the best in the world, this isn't a matter of opinion but fact. For reasons we can't comprehend, Thailand just has an air over their commercial industry that Hollywood doesn't. You'd think it'd be impossible for something as despised as advertising to ever be entertaining ... well think again. This small, Southeast Asian country does it right.

Thai insurance is best known for their incredible, heartfelt commercials. I've never seen a three-minute-long commercial before, but hey, if it's this good, why not? It sure beats watching a bunch of cavemen complain for thirty seconds.

When I saw the ending to this and found out it was a shampoo ad, it kinda ruined the whole experience for me. Why the hell is this a commercial and not a movie? With an idea and execution like this, it sure deserves to be one. If only America could take the people of these Thai advertising agencies and place them in Hollywood, maybe we could stop filling our theaters with so many mediocre date comedy and superhero films.

Until further notice, this is my favorite one so far. It's another commercial made by Thai Insurance. Actually, to call this a commercial would be degrading, it's another masterpiece illustrating the beauty of the human heart. Ironically, the boy's father presumably dies at the end in a car crash, which raises the question; does any of this sell insurance? Well, for your information, the president of Thai Insurance has stated that these commercials are less meant for selling insurance but more of a way to tell the public that the people who work at the company are humans too, I'd say they're pretty effective. I mean, I'd much rather leave my insurance in the hands of a human being rather than a talking gecko or some pink-haired Kim Possible knock-off.

Contrary to the video uploader's poor judgment, this is actually more anti-racist than anything. It's a Thai ad for black, herbal toothpaste, and the whole idea of the commercial is that you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover. I also read somewhere that this commercial was banned, which is kind of outrageous. Just who did this offend? Do black people even live in Thailand? Or maybe just depicting a black person is proof enough that something is racist. In case you couldn't tell, the commercial is meant to make you feel sad for the black guy. I mean, just look at him, he sleeps on a toothbrush for crying out loud! Jokes aside, this commercial is another good example of how the Thai utilize their commercials to draw emotion. I honestly don't know if emotion sells a product, especially in this case where the product in question is black toothpaste. But hey, I said Thailand makes the best commercials, as in most entertaining, that doesn't necessarily mean most profitable.

Thailand also makes some pretty funny commercials as well, but who am I kidding? East Asian commercials in general are funny. Just look around, they're all over YouTube. Japanese commercials are sort of an exception though, most of those are just really weird.
